Grand Prize $10,000* Reverse Raffle to benefit New Horizons Elementary School.
The Grand Prize Drawing for New Horizons Elementary School 1st Annual Reverse Raffle will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017, from 6-9 p.m. at Pine Valley Country Club, 500 Pine Valley Drive, Wilmington, North Carolina.
Unlike a typical raffle, in a Reverse Raffle the purchaser of the last ticket drawn during the elimination drawing wins the Grand Prize, which is 50% of the total ticket sales. Two hundred (200) tickets will be sold at $100 each, so ticket sales will total twenty thousand dollars ($20,000). The Grand Prize will be ten thousand dollars ($10,000)*. Invite your friends to join in the fun, but you do not need to be present to win.
A maximum of 200 tickets will be sold. Each ticket has a number from 1-200 on it. Throughout the evening, numbers are pulled at random from a tumbler. As each number is pulled, that ticket is removed from the display, thus eliminating that ticket from the Grand Prize drawing. The winner of the Grand Prize need not be present to win.
Put your dancing shoes on and join us for a night out to support NHES and watch the Grand Prize winner be revealed. We'll have a great evening with friends and our NHES family. Event tickets include dinner and 2 drink tickets. A cash bar will be open all evening. We will have a few suprises for lucky ticket holders all night long!
